Mohammed al-Mahdi, 37, formerly named Michael Sharovsky, trains Palestinians at the Olympic club in the West Bank city of Hebron June 16, 2005. Al-Mahdi, who was born Jewish in Azerbaijan, immigrated to Israel and lived as a Jewish settler in the Jewish settlement of Kiryat Arba, near Hebron.
