A Palestinian family crosses the Kalandia checkpoint between the West bank town of Ramallah and Jerusalem, as soldiers question an elderly man Wednesday March 23, 2005. Israel sealed off the West Bank and Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning, banning Palestinians from entering until Saturday evening, as Jews prepared to celebrate the Purim holiday. Closure orders are a routine security measure for Jewish holidays. Purim parades and festivals are standard fare, as are costumes, and security officials are concerned that Palestinian bombers might attack large gatherings of Israelis, as has been done on the past on Purim.(AP Photo/Nasser Nasser)
