Palestinian children leave their home in the West
|
Palestinian children leave their home in the West Bank village of Tuba village in the southern Hebron hills, for their daily school run 03 November 2004. The most direct route for the youngsters to their school in al-Tuwani village at the southernmost tip of the West Bank is a dirt track which runs between the Jewish settlement of Maon and the neighbouring wildcat outpost of Havat Maon -- a fact which has aroused the ire of local settlers and has become a nightmare for the children because of their ritual harassment by Jewish settlers.(AFP/File/Hazem Bader)
