Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurie on July 21, 2004 condemned the shooting of a longtime critic of Yasser Arafat in what appeared to be part of a chaotic power struggle in the Palestinian Authority . Gunmen shot and wounded lawmaker Nabil Amr, a leading voice for anti-corruption reforms, in the living room of his West Bank home on Tuesday evening. He had just returned from a television interview in which he criticized Arafat`s performance. Amr is seen in this July 1 file photo. (Loay Abu Haykel/Reuters)
