A young Palestinian boy watches people inspecting a damaged house destroyed by an overnight Israeli airstrike on the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Lahia town. The radical group Islamic Jihad said it would cease firing rockets at Israel if the Jewish state halted attacks on the Palestinians.
