A Palestinian Muslim worshipper on his way to Jerusalem's Al Aqsa Mosque argues with an Israeli border police officer after being denied entrance at a checkpoint in the West Bank town of Bethlehem, Friday, Oct. 20, 2006. Thousands of Palestinian women, children and middle-aged men surged through the main Israeli crossing from the West Bank into Jerusalem to worship at a major Islamic shrine on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. Men under 45, deemed a potential security risk by Israel, were barred from Jerusalem, but hundreds tried to get in anyhow, citing a religious obligation to worship at Al Aqsa during Ramadan.
