Palestinian student Sawsan Salameh sits at her computer in her home in the West Bank town of Anata, on the outskirts of Jerusalem. Salameh who has been offered a full scholarship to attend the prestigious Hebrew University to earn a doctorate in chemistry, is not allow to enter Israel, a mere half-hour ride away form her home, except on humanitarian grounds because she is unmarried, childless, and under the age of 35, fitting the typical profile of a suicide bomber.(AFP/File/Awad Awad)
