Palestinian police officers direct the traffic through burning tyres during a protest by civil servants in the West Bank town of Bethlehem. Palestinian prime minister Ismail Haniya has called off a parliament appearance after protestors angry over non-payment of salaries made him fight his way into the legislature, where he was to field questions over unity government talks.(AFP/Musa Al-Shaer)
