Palestinians take part in a demonstration in the West Bank city of Ramallah to oppose the recent clashes between rival Fatah and Hamas factions in the Gaza Strip. Leaders of rival Palestinian factions welcomed a Saudi offer to mediate an end to violence that has cost 28 lives in Gaza, in the deadliest round of clashes since Hamas came to power a year ago.(AFP/Abbas Momani)
