Palestinians collect candles to be taken to Gaza, at the center of the West Bank town of Ramallah, Tuesday, July 4, 2006. Israel said it would open a key cargo crossing with the Gaza Strip on Tuesday to allow the entrance of medical supplies and foods, the army spokesman said. The army opened the crossing earlier this week in an effort to avoid a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, much of which is without power since an Israeli airstrike destroyed the main power station last week.
