A Palestinian woman and her daughter walk past damaged cars in an area were the Israeli army was conducting a military raid in the northern West Bank town of Nablus Wednesday May 17, 2006. Two Islamic Jihad militants were killed and another was wounded in a predawn gunbattle in Nablus, Palestinian security and medical officials said. Israeli soldiers on an arrest raid circled the militants' five-room, one-story hideout and a firefight broke out. Fighting continued for hours, and troops used a bulldozer to raze part of the building. (AP Photo/Nasser Ishtayeh)
