Palestinian women hold their Identity cards as they wait to receive their monthly food supplies from the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) at a warehouse at the Jebaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip Thursday April 13, 2006. The U.S. and European Union have cut off tens of millions of dollars in annual aid, and Israel has stopped transferring roughly $55 million (euro45 million) in monthly taxes it collects on behalf of the Palestinian Authority, since the Hamas-run government took office. The U.N also has ended its policy of unrestricted political contacts with the Palestinians but says will ensure there is no disruption in the delivery of humanitarian aid and services to the Palestinian people from U.N. agencies.
