Militants point a hand gun towards US citizen Douglas Johnson, an English teacher at the Arab American University, as they snatched him in Kabatiyeh, a few kilometers from the West Bank city of Jenin. The 45-year-old Johnson was later released. A blitz of foreign kidnappings and furious attacks on Western interests erupted in the Palestinian territories today while Israeli troops stormed a West Bank prison deserted by British monitors.
