Palestinians raise banners and wave Palestinian flags during a protest supporting democratic elections in the West Bank town of Ramallah, Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005. The Fatah primaries, held in parts of the West Bank, have been marred by violence, with gunmen bursting into polling stations and burning ballot boxes in some areas.
