Israeli poloicemen and border guards arrest a Palestinian Hamas activist, resident of Arab east Jerusalem, outside the Old City's Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Israel gave its approval for Arab residents of east Jerusalem to vote in this month's Palestinian election but followed up a ban on campaigning by Hamas by detaining four of its candidates.
