Palestinian doctors try to save Islam Al-Sabah, 8, who was seriously wounded near Jabalia by tank shells fired by Israeli tanks according to witnesses and hospital officials January 31, 2003. Witnesses and hospital officals said Israeli tanks fired three tank shells, injuring seven Palestinians under the age of 17, two of them seriously, who had been playing soccer in an open area between Jabalia and Beit Hanoun. The Israeli army said the shells had been fired at a group of Palestinians who tried to fire qasam rockets from the same area where rockets were fired yesterday. REUTERS/Andrea Comas
