NABLUS, West Bank (AFP) - A Palestinian teenager was shot dead and six other youths injured when Israeli forces fired on stone-throwing Palestinians in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Zahid Jazzi, 13 was shot dead at the entrance to the Balat refugee camp in Nablus, Palestinian security forces said Sunday.

His death brings to 3,209 the number of people killed since the Palestinian intifada, or uprising, erupted in September 2000, including 2,420 Palestinians and 729 Israelis.
